Program Manager Cartier Women’s Initiative

 

 

Role Summary : 

 

The Cartier Women’s Initiative program is composed of four pillars which define our strategy and guide our actions:

 

  • The Awards recognizes 33 talented impact entrepreneurs who are leveraging business as a force for good.
  • The Fellowship aims to equip our fellows with the necessary skills to grow their business and to build their leadership capacity.
  • The Community aims to support our fellows by connecting them with a network of former fellows, jury members, ecosystem partners, ambassadors, advisors, and investors that can provide them with access to relationships, knowledge, and capital.
  • Our Thought Leadership strategy consists in tapping into our community's vast pool of talent, expertise, and experience by curating and bringing to light some of the boldest and most thought-provoking ideas.

 

 The Program Manager's role will consist of two components : 

 

  • The firt component is to lead the Awards pillar of the initiative. The key objective is to improve and own the execution strategy for fellow selection. This includes stewarding the definition of the program's eligibility and selection criteria, leading the selection and evaluation process of applicants to our programs, and overseeing the work of our due diligence partner to ensure our pogram includes the best-in-class impact entrepreneurs. 
  • The second component is to work in collaboration with the Global Program Director to design and manage our various Capital related programs. This includes supporting the launch of the Ripple Effect Debt Fund that provides debt financing to past fellows, the creation of a non-dilutive funding capital connection program, and relationship management with the key impact and gender-lens investors for equity financing.  

 

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the operational success of the respective programs. This includes :

 

  • utilizing tools/developing processes to manage program data
  • designing the year round program timeline and communicating it to internal and external stakeholders
  • contributing to the communications strategy for the fellows’ and laureates’ announcements
  • hiring, onboarding and managing on a daily basis all of the agencies, service providers, and freelancers that contribute to these conponents of the program.

Throughout the year, the ProgramManager may also support cross-collaborative projects (that are DEI/Women Empowerment/Impact focused), focus on professional development and career growth, and work with colleagues from around the world.

 

What You Will Do : 

 

  • Report to the Global Program Director to align on desired outcomes, contribute to the design of  the programs (scope, format, methodology, resources, timing, etc.) and implement it following best practices and executing upon outlined content and curriculum.
  • Monitor and track progress by developing program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement via data-driven measurement and adjust as needed.
  • Be a point of contact for applicants, fellows, and jury members throughout the selection & evaluation process in order to deliver the best possible Awards experience.
  • Author all incoming and outgoing Awards and Capital program documentation.
  • Own all year-round logistics, operations, administration, contracting, scheduling, calendar management and planning for the Awards and Capital programs.
  • Provide program updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about adjustments and progress.
  • Contribute to the communications strategy by working closely with the Community and Content Manager.
  • Collaborate with various agencies, service providers and seasonal freelancers, oversee their work to ensure it meets the needs of the program.
  • Relationship management with key impact and gender lens capital providers.
  • Travel is required to annual CWI event.

 

Your Profile : 

 

  • 5+years of experience in a fast-paced environment ideally with a management consulting or related background.
  • Strong Interest in impact entrepreneurship,impact investing ecosystem and developmental stages of stratups desired.
  • Ability to understand financial and strategy due diligence, and converse with investors around investment thesis. 
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to not only collaborate with internal and external stakeholders but also anticipate their needs and requests.
  • Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Team player with a positive attitude that holds herself/himself and others accountable for the program success.
  • Active listening, adaptability, and proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Attention to detail & strive for excellence.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to initiate and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, with emphasis on business administration or economics.
  • Fluency in English required (written English needs to be at a professional fluency level), additional language desired.
