Study Abroad Program Assistant
The CIEE Program Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the success of the daily functioning of the High School Summer Abroad programs and also serves as a first point-of-contact for students and program leaders for CIEE HSSA Paris.

CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
Missions include:
Program preparation:

Complete all trainings and attend HSSA meetings
-
Reserve and prepare cultural activities and excursions
-
Review student applications
-
Participate in the recruitment of host families
-
Prepare orientation materials for students and program leaders
-
Organize arrival and departure logistics
Responsibilities during program:
-
Be a key point of contact for students and help them troubleshoot issues
-
Assist with student arrivals and orientation
-
Lead French language and Into the Community activities in collaboration with Program Leaders
-
Accompany cultural activities and excursions (day trip, overnight)

Accompany students to doctor’s visits when necessary

- Niveau Licence, Bachelor
- Fluency in both French and English
- Very good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with French and American culture
- Experience with youth, preferably in a cross-cultural setting
- Team-player
