Junior image processing Engineer à Nice

Job Purpose We are looking for a junior image processing engineer to join HiSilion’s Image Signal Processor development team in Sophia Antipolis. Description du poste

Job Purpose 

We are looking for a junior image processing engineer to join HiSilion’s Image Signal Processor development team in Sophia Antipolis. The work will mainly include  


  • Monitor research and industry
  • Analyze how to improve the image and video quality of the current ISP solution and how to enable innovative new features
  • Proof of concept implementations
  • Benchmark proposals against the state of the art
  • Present work to management and participate in the feature definition process of future product versions
  • Write algorithm specification documents
  • Fine tune algorithms for specific mobile camera sensors and support the integration process
  • Perform sensor calibration and measurements in our imaging lab


The candidate will be part of the ISP architecture team and work closely with other image processing experts based in Sophia Antipolis or other research centers.

Requirements 

  • Education: MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Basic understanding of image signal processing (ISP) pipeline, image sensors or computer vision algorithms
  • Able to create and fine tune algorithms compatible with mobile ASIC constraints
  • Good sense of objective and subjective picture and video quality.
  • Experience in machine learning / AI / CNN is a plus
  • Hand on in programming
  • Fluent French and English, Chinese is a plus
  • Skilled in C/C++, Python, Excel, Word, Visio
