Paris - Long Term Internship - CIB Global Banking - ECM Analyst

Work environment

-BNP Paribas Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team is part of the Group’s Capital Markets department

-The team is split between the Paris hub and the London hub and manages all transactions related to the issuance of equity on behalf of mid-cap and large-cap clients throughout EMEA (notably IPOs, capital increases, secondary placements and equity-linked issues)

-The intern's role will be to assist the team in the preparation of marketing materials (pitchbooks) and in the execution of live transactions for French corporates

-BNP Paribas consistently ranks among the top 10 bookrunners in Europe, and is a leading ECM player in France with 125+ transactions led since 2015

Responsibilities :

The tasks will include :

-Daily and weekly market monitoring; regular updates of internal databases

-Analysis of stock-specific market parameters

-Contribution in the preparation and drafting of marketing materials

-Support in the execution of equity and equity-linked transactions for French issuers

Profile :

-Top Business or Engineering School / University with a financial background

-Previous experience as an intern in the fields of ECM, M&A, Equity Research or Audit is appreciated

-Languages required: English compulsory, French recommended-Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint is required

-Basic knowledge of Bloomberg, Dealogic or Factset is a plus
