The Brand Manager Media is responsible for developing and implementing the right media strategy. She/he is driving efficiency and innovation in advertising thanks to her/his understanding of fast changing media environment and new media opportunities, gathering insights and applying that knowledge to the Red Bull business in order to increase the consumer base, develop brand love and grow key audiences.
Develops and implements the ideal country-specific advertising plan taking into account international specificities, local learnings and working closely with project leaders to agree on objectives and deliverables.
Is the key contact for media agencies and HQ media team.
Manages the media agencies to ensure contractual delivery, optimal value-for-money planning as well as innovative mindset.
Clarifies KPIs by campaign and media and ensures campaigns continuous performances through reporting and learnings sharing.
Closely works with Red Bull communication, programming and content teams to develop digital expertise and supports amplification of owned and earned channels through paid media.
Drives best practices in programmatic cases to deliver relevant and contextualized messaging. Improves Data Management Platform and Consumer database usage and performances.
Turns consumer- and media data into compelling insights, which are actionable and relevant, and ensures these insights are addressed through adequate ideas and media plans
Constantly identifies, analyzes and aligns the latest digital media trends and emerging technologies, seeking out new opportunities and applying them to the Red Bull strategy
Collaborates & ensures synergy with all marketing and sales teams, and specifically with Brand specialists to support them in delivering business and consumer objectives through media planning.
Works closely with the National Brand Manager and International HQ specialists to share learnings, best practices, to align plans, share latest updates and insights
Initiates and participates in creative sessions to develop tactics and case studies
Supports the National Brand Manager in developing and implementing the annual business plan
Prepares the annual media strategy, media plan and budgets
Manages and maintains the agreed budget
At least 5 years work experience, including media planning with focus on digital (advertiser or agency side)
Knowledge in the area of media strategy, advertising planning, ad tech industry and/or FMCG brand marketing
Experience in budgeting and basic financial reporting
Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies
Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate trends and turn insights into action
Ability to pay attention to details of plans and reports
Ability to work in and cultivate a team environment
An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate best practices
High standard of integrity with a passion for the brand and commitment to Red Bull values.
