Description of the jobWith the rapid evolution of technology in our domain, we need to define how our traditional skills and process will be impacted by new digital ones beyond data sciences already considered.
How AI and Machine Learning Techniques will impact us is a major question where we need to work with AI specialists having knowledge in Aircraft business and more specifically in Aircraft Operability.
The aim of this mission is to review our methods and process and identify where it will be impacted by AI based technology.
The PhD thesis is 3-year long and will start in 1st Quarter 2019
Tasks & accountabilitiesAs part of the academics and related industrial application, the applicant will propose an example through a proof of concept, on a dedicated application in our perimeter, able to demonstrate the pertinence of AI utilization.
The idea is to address both EIO business and show how these technologies will be embedded into our products and services. AI is aimed to drive our activities to more autonomy and less human contribution for the customers, airlines and aircraft operators in our domain covering maintenance,
As far as possible a demonstrator will be defined and tested. As such practical engineering skills are required aside the academic ones.
