Description

As our Category Sales manager Nike Basketball & Jordan you’ll provide category sales leadership by executing distribution strategies that result in maximum revenue, profit and market share. You will partner with a defined set of accounts and contribute to the sales strategy for these accounts to ensure mutual profitability. You will drive business by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise which results in consistent target attainment.       

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive France marketplace management for Nike Basketball & Jordan;
  • Deliver GTM leadership through preparation, planning and execution of successful territory sell-ins and facilitates “end in mind” execution;
  • Act as category commercial distribution expert and ensure segmented distribution plans are in place in key cities to maximize category opportunities
  • Ensures commercial (internal and external) meetings are prepared and executed at the highest level as planned and envisioned by the category and teams.;
  • Establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships. Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of the customer’s business;
  • Manage the marketplace by ensuring best presentation of stories and product to our best customers at the appropriate time. Work closely with planning and account team on directed door level assortment plans that contribute to a differentiated consumer experience;
  • Ensures Account Executive alignment with category strategies;
  • Deliver premium Customer experience by building relationships, proactively delivering solution orientation, maintaining appropriate meeting cadence and strengthening the Nike: Customer relationship.

 Minimum requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in footwear and/or apparel brand for a top-tier fashion or sports brand;
  • At least 3 years experience in managing Key Accounts;
  • Proven track record in managing Basketball category and/or Jordan brand
  • Proven experience increasing revenue by executing and driving holistic business plans inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets. 
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.


Other requirements:

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives. Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and marketplace;
  • Must understand the competitive market, retail trends, and be customer focused;
  • Think outside the box and make sound decisions based on exceptional analytical skills.
