Description

We are looking for a Brand Director Jordan NORTH/PARIS responsible to provide brand management, strategic leadership, functional excellence and direction for the Jordan Brand within France, Benelux and Scandinavian countries, with a major focus on Paris.

Based in Paris, you will be in charge of the creation and implementation of a strategic brand plan and the management of execution to fuel consumer demand, drive brand strength and strengthen the connection with consumers. Impact of this leadership should drive significant bottom-line and market share results for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the marketing lead for the Jordan Brand, driving the full brand offense across men’s, women’s and kids while ensuring the consumer and the brand pov are included in all EMEA marketing plans.
  • Timely and effective delivery of seasonal Marketing Plans to fuel and lead Sneaker Culture across the market through extensive cross-functional collaboration involving other categories such as Nike Sportswear, other functions like Entertainment, Energy, Sales; Retail Brand, Retail, Sports Marketing and PR as well as key strategic accounts
  • Power the market by delivering an integrated consumer journey for the Jordan consumer in Paris through strategic marketing efforts around key game changers
  • Drive cross business marketing budget process for the category, ensuring visibility of all relevant category and functional spend and influence alignment against priorities (geographical and functional)
  • Lead consumer connectivity and concept development. Lead the process to gain insight from consumers in every aspect. Identify cultural trends and lead the full consumer deep dive in Paris.
  • Integrate the country voice trough regular input sessions on consumer insights and emerging trends with the EMEA Jordan teams.
  • Assess key concepts against Jordan insights and the Jordan consumer vision, to drive a robust concept map. Drive a process that continually creates new consumer experiences to accelerate brand and business growth opportunities both internally and externally.
  • Ensure alignment, creativity and insight in all marketing disciplines and focus on cross functional execution of marketing programs
  • Regularly communication and feed back to EMEA and countries on progresses and evolution of strategies and priorities, to ensure constant regional alignment.

  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience leading a Marketing team for a specific brand and/or sports category
  • Connection to the Paris marketplace and/or proven ability to build and manage strong relationships and partnerships
  • Strong understanding of the Jordan consumers and ability to connect with them through sport and cultural lens
  • Proven experience in building and driving innovative marketing plans, and leading with a brave and innovative digital mindset.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Proven to efffectively work in a matrix organization with cross-functional and virtual team and multiple reporting lines
  • Able to build and drive the execution of long-term strategy
  • Knowledge of the Basketball, lifestyle and urban trends in Paris and North
