About the « Shared Center Connected Living Home & Vehicles »

Within Worldline France, the « Shared Center Connected Living Home & Vehicles » provides end-to end services around the expanding market of Internet of Things.

These services are based on a set of technical assets allowing vertical markets (connected fleets (cars and trucks) and connected home) to propose their customers innovative solutions on the whole chain of communication.

In the context of development of the automotive sector, you will join the « Embedded » team that supports the development of business applications, the integration of third-party telematics boxes and their integration into our customers eco-systems.

Job title: Embedded test and validation engineer M/W

Contract: permanent contract

Mission description:

Within the team, you will participate in the functional and technical validation of the business solutions developed by Worldline or by our partners. You will also ensure the implementation and execution of the test strategy.

You will be in charge of:

·Writing and / or updating test and validation plans (from the highest to the lowest level of software)
·Preparing and maintaining test procedures for:
oThe Software Specification (Acceptance Tests)
oThe overall design (integration tests)
oThe detailed design (unit tests)
·Defining the technical means to carry out the tests (test benches, measuring equipment) and ensuring the management of these means
·Performing and executing test procedures and analyzing results
·Ensuring coverage of specification or design requirements through testing
·Participating in proofreading and review of specification and design documents
·Formalizing and conducting audits by companies specialized in the metrology of WAN, LAN communication systems and embedded systems
·Contributing and supporting the technical validation phases carried out by our customers: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), PSW (Part Submission Warrant)
·Managing the observation phases in production with an approach of continuous improvement of the quality:
oAnalysis of the production park from the data collected from the box
oProcessing/ treatment and follow up of customer incident tickets issued by the support chain
oReview of the anomalies progress with the development team and / or the suppliers of embedded solutions.
Finally, you will ensure the technical supervision of testers and analysts during the execution of the tests and you will manage their activities.

Graduate of a Master degree level from an engineering school
You have an experience in embedded development, preferably in the automotive sector, and have proven experience in testing and validation activities in the industrial sector. Unit tests, performance tests and non-regression testing are no longer a secret to you!
You are autonomous, very rigorous with a keen sense of quality. Your capacities of animation, your sense of relationship, the negotiation and of course the spirit of team are all qualities required for this post.
Your technical skills cover the following aspects:
 
· Knowledge of C / C ++ / Shell / Unix programming languages
· Communication protocols and embedded networks: CAN, TCP / IP, TLS, GSM 2G / 3G, GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth...
· Knowledge of System Engineering methodologies and tools
· Knowledge of embedded systems like Core Linux: CPU resource management, real-time system, network card, energy management
· Knowledge / Practice of metrology applied to mobile communication
· Technical proficiency in written / spoken English
· Knowledge of CANanalyser, Canoe, CANSimulator tools, other...
