Description

The main mission of this internship is to define local sneaker culture in Paris - both in the physical and the digital worlds - to understand it, leverage it and then to reconnect with it. This will be done through consumer digs and retailer summits. In our efforts to reconnect with authenticators, our wholesale partners, the right locations and consumers, the contribution of this intern will be a key part of the global Nike Sportswear France strategy. He/She will work closely together with the Nike Sportswear (NSW) Brand Director.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Become a key partner and work on the marketing strategy of the biggest category of Nike France.

- Spark creativity and help drive the Nike Sportswear brand vision

- Aim at surprising our consumers with new experiences that amplify the sportswear culture

- Be a positive influence to rally the organization to the sportswear cause

- Get closer to our young consumers (16/20 years) in an innovative way

- Anticipate trends and provide feedback to France Brand Team

- Re-connect with the main actors of sneaker and sportswear culture in Paris

MISSIONS

1) NSW x Sneaker culture in Paris

Trend watch around sneaker culture and our

wholesale partners: websites, blogs, Pinterest, Tumblers, Instagram, Facebook,

magazines, chat with retailers…-

a study to better understand the young consumer and his relation to his favorite

sneaker shops, give his/her point of view and a fresh perspective insight to

the rest of the NSW team

2) Sports Marketing Interaction

-Reflect on how we can maximize our sports moments

Determine the

actions to capitalize on our sport marketing assets and leverage them through

NSW3) Distribution

-Define the shops, working with Nike, that build the ecosystem of lifestyle sneakers

Define the shops

that are not working with Nike and that we should target4) Places

-Define the key areas connected to sneaker culture that influence our sneaker lovers and our avant-gardist consumers (hang outs, bars, cultural places…)

Qualifications

- 4th or 5th year student in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management -

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advanced MS Office level (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Eagerness to contribute to team success and Nike sportswear

Interested in digital – a first digital experience is a plus

Social medias facilities (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat

Creativity, autonomy, organization, and proactivity
