Country Manager France for YoungOnes

What are you going to do:

We dream big. That's why defining a strategy will be an important part of your job. But not only that. Ultimately, it's about daring and execution. You have a natural talent for building something from scratch. You must figure out what works best for the launch of our platform abroad. You see every commercial opportunity and grab it with both hands. You collaborate with various stakeholders such as self-employed representatives, funds and unions and make sure that YoungOnes in France grows just as fast as in the Netherlands. You will do this together with a strong team, which you gather yourself and manage around you.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the final boss of YoungOnes France. There is of course great help available from The Netherlands that you can use. You will be responsible for the complete launch and rollout of our platform in France (together with everything that comes with it);
• You develop and determine the strategy;
• Seeing commercial opportunities, networking and bringing in customers;
• Recruiting and managing a team, setting objectives, and providing guidelines and feedback;
• You deal with legislation and cultural differences.

Who are you?

• You are a born leader and have experience in setting up and building a team;
• You have strong project management skills; you are data-driven and analytical;
• Complex issues? No problem for you. You don't shy away from difficult decisions;
• You have experience in launching a new company or service in new cities/countries, preferably within the platform industry. Or you have worked within a growing platform company for several years;
• You are commercially driven by nature and think "go, go, go!".

About YoungOnes

As a freelance platform, YoungOnes matches the current supply and demand for temporary jobs by directly connecting freelancers and clients. The platform offers temporary day jobs in all kinds of sectors: from logistics and delivery to cleaning, retail and hospitality. YoungOnes emerged in 2017 as a tech start-up from the YoungCapital Fund. Since then, more than 1,000,000 matches have been made between clients and freelancers. In the Netherlands we already have 80+ employers!

In recent years our platform has proven itself in The Netherlands and therefore we are more than ready to expand further abroad. In 2021 we rolled out our platform in the UK, and it tastes like more. This year, more countries will follow, including Belgium and France. Among other a lot of other things, you will be responsible for the expansion into the land of many castles.

What we offer:

• A fixed gross salary between €5,000 and €7,000 per month (based on 40 hours), depending on your experience. Plus, a quarterly bonus scheme.
