Cycles and Procurement is right at the heart of making the Danone vision One Planet One Health a reality. Through what and how we source, we shape the world in which we operate and we build the future for Danone. With our Cycles we protect and secure our key resources (Milk, Water and Plastic) and we take a strategic approach to procurement to support the business and social agenda of Danone.

CONTEXT

The Nature and Water cycle is setting strategy on topics such as environmental and social impact of Danone across its value chain. The company has a very ambitious transformation agenda, especially on climate, as it declared in February 2020 that it reached its peak, on top of its goal to be carbon neutral by 2050.

In the coming months, an intensive work shall be performed to make sure that every part of the organization has the full visibility on its nature footprint, and is reaching the 2020 targets that are a major milestone in our journey. In this context, we are looking for the Nature and Sustainability Reporting Analyst for 6 months temporary contract. 

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS (from September 2020 to March 2021) :

Managed and trainted by the Nature performance monitoring director of Danone, you will be focusing on following priorities:

• Prepare the 2020 nature performance monitoring cycle : finalize timings, test system updates, …
• Analyze results of H1 Nature results: use a cloud-based consolidation tool build a view by country, GHG category, … that will allow the management team to anticipate 2020 closing
• Lead the data analysis of all Nature KPIs for the 2020 full year results: data extraction, crunching, performance analysis, …
• Animate carbon masters’ community: develop and animate training on Nature standards, system, deadlines, …
• Support managers in the team in charge of monitoring Danone environmental footprint and the achievement of external commitments of the company (climate change, water, packaging and regenerative agriculture)

YOUR CONNECTIONS : 

• You will be in contact with various stakeholders : at company level (Nature, finance, …), with company divisions, and local subsidiaries
• You will be exposed to major projects a the heart of Danone strategy
• You are integrating a passionate and dynamic team

• You will have the possibility to propose concrete recommendations thanks to your new pair of eyes (and this will make the difference)

YOUR PROFILE : 

• Minimum graduate degree, such ad business or engineering school
• You have a first experience in data analytics, in connection with various functions and departments in a big company
• You have a strong intrest for sustainable development and climate change
• You are rigorous, open-minded and are not afraid of proposing improvements
• You have strong data analytic skills
• You are showing a very high degree of autonomy, a good sense of organisation and respect for confidentiality
• Very good command of Excel and Powerpoint tools
• Fluent English level
