Essential Dairy and Plant-Based (EDP)

In 2017, Danone’s strategic move towards plant-based food and drinks - with the acquisition of WhiteWave - came at the right moment to meet consumer expectations for healthier and sustainable choices. It enables us to enrich our portfolio with consumer-loved brands and health-focused options, complementary to our dairy fermented products. Besides, we also continued our strategy to offer essential dairy products with nutritional benefits and to innovate through our local and international brands.

CONTEXT

This position is part of the EDP Europe Manufacturing Performance organization.

The EDP Europe Performance Manager will help to develop the maintenance program in Europe and Cluster Business Units, having a big impact on the growth, efficiency and sustainability.

The role reports directly to the EDP Europe Performance Director.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Define the maintenance strategy, standards and routines for Danone EDP EU Plants
• Extend equipment reliability, maintainability and availability while keeping a competitive cost
• Define skills and organization for high performing maintenance teams
• Work together with other divisions (Waters, Specialized Nutrition) colleagues to have a common vision and wording
• Train, support and audit the EDP EU factories on the implementation of those standards
• )) to avoid reoccurrence
• Define Maintenance KPI & KAI to be reported, consolidated and compared between plants
• Identify and roll-out Maintenance best practices to reduce cost
• Develop alternative suppliers so total cost of ownership is guaranteed
• Animate the EU EDP Maintenance Network
• Shape and land new digital technologies linked to maintenance (CMMS, 3D printing, Augmented Reality)
• Work together with teammates on the other systems implementation: Safety, Quality, Cost,
• Consolidate the continuous improvement mindset & results on the EU EDP Plants

ABOUT YOU

• At least 8 years of experience in highly competitive business environment
• Lean methodology and tools expert
• TPM experience : PM implementation success
• Possible Background: Operations, Manufacturing, Performance, …
• English spoken. French & Spanish spoken nice to have
• Long term and strategic thinking
• Never afraid of challenging status quo and drive with energy to make things happen
• Comfortable to deal with uncertainty.
• Business and people oriented
• Can do attitude, resilience and tenacity
