Description of the job

An internship in International Collaboration is available within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse.
You will join The Engineering Department within the Aircraft Security Centre of Competence.

Its mission is to:
● Coordinate/ orchestrate all the aircraft security activities managed within the company,
● Manage the development and update of the Aircraft Security procedural and technical referential
● Steer the Airbus contribution to international collaboration initiatives (governmental, industry…)
● Develop aircraft security operational and industrial instructions and recommendations,
Support their implementation and manage a catalogue of “operable’ operational security controls
The internship will work closely with the Product security experts, International Collaboration Specialist, Design certification specialist.
The objective of the internship is to assess the evolution of civil aviation security from Regulations to airports security measures, including analysis of data security & protection impact on aircraft security; and also perform security watch of the current & future geopolitical security threats

This 6 Month internship will start from March 2019 (Date subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
● Identify & Build a cartography of the principal worldwide actors, working groups of the Aircraft Security in its international environment
● List all the worldwide regulations coming, on going and to be published in the next 2 years
● Evaluate the impact on our Airbus technical referential & standard
● Support the development of Aircraft Security context
● Perform a security watch on regulation, standardization
● Support the International Collaboration Hub Community

Required skills

  • Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in Political Science or a related discipline.

o English : advanced
o French: intermediate
o German & Spanish as a plus
