A work-study offer in New Execution Platforms for On-Board (m/f) has just been opened within Airbus on our site where the internship is to take place.
The objective of this internship is to evaluate the Automotive Grade Linux distribution in view of its possible use for future platform and payload applications. The evaluation will be conducted using a spacecraft central software implementation on Linux. The focus will be done on the development of a safety partition to monitor the central software execution.

This internship is to be filled from February (date subject to a certain flexibility)

You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

Tasks & accountabilities

For that purpose, the trainee will have to:

  • Install and configure Automotive Grade Linux with Xen hypervisor on hardware platform (ARM)
  • Benchmark performances on both Linux and safety partition
  • Integrate a satellite central software ported on Linux
  • Explore solutions to monitor the software
  • Develop safety partition to monitor the execution of the central software
  • Write tutorial, user manual and technical reports

Required skills

Preparing a diploma Bac+5 level, you are looking for a 6-month internship to validate your diploma in Engineering / General Engineering or a related discipline.

Mandatory:

  • Embedded C/C++,
  • Linux OS
  • ARM

Nice to Have :

Notion Hyperviseur / Operating Systems.
Notion de gestion de configuration distribuée (git, mercurial) serait un plus.
pack Office Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

You are autonomous, show initiative and curiosity.

You have an advanced level in English and French.
