Contexte

STUDIOCANAL is a subsidiary of the CANAL+ Group. It is one of Europe's leading companies in the market for co-production, acquisition, distribution and sales of international feature films and TV series. STUDIOCANAL is the only studio which operates simultaneously in three main European territories - France, the United Kingdom and Germany - as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

The company distributes a total of more than 50 films a year.

Additionally, STUDIOCANAL owns one of the most important film librairies in the world, boasting more than 6,500 original titles from more than 60 countries. including 6,000 films for whom the company is responsible for the custody as well as restoration. It also manages the sales of rights to those films, notably for remakes.
Mission

The Global Marketing Team is responsible for creating and deploying integrated marketing campaigns that connect with audiences across both our STUDIOCANAL territories and internationally, with a core focus on developing strong strategic and creative materials and compelling marketing narratives. 

Within the team, the Project Managers drive the creation, planning and deployment of comprehensive BtoB and BtoC marketing campaigns alongside the Creative & Publicity teams, from greenlight to release, and lead cross-functional communications in a seamless manner between the central team and local markets / external stake holders.
Core focus – management of New Release films complemented by some Catalogue titles

Core responsibilities - from greenlight to release:

•	inform the greenlight and production process with early marketing analysis of the new projects (audience definition, positioning, key selling points and challenges)
•	create B to B pitching tools supporting early commercial efforts (international sales, licensing…)
•	conceptualize an integrated global marketing campaign, with a timeline and a marketing narrative encompassing all touchpoints and strategic goals (partnerships, promotions, digital, creative, HE):
o	initiating kick-off meetings and brainstorms to align strategic goals and generate innovative ideas within the Team
o	understanding and integrating the needs of key markets (Studiocanal territories and major clients) 
o	informing strategic decision making with audience insights and research, in coordination with the Insights Specialist
•	communicate the strategy internally (management, SC territories, sales) and externally (filmmakers, distributors, promotional partners), ensuring that the flow of campaign information is running in a strategic and consistent way, both pre and post-release
•	drive the execution of those plans in a timely manner and within budget, challenging all parties along the way to ensure that strategic objectives are met at each stage
•	manage budget- ie. defining and optimizing the budget allocation per film, with regards to the yearly international marketing budget
•	accompany and challenge our Studiocanal markets on their P&A and the execution of their local marketing strategies, with regards to global financial objectives 
•	drive post-release analysis, in collaboration with the insights specialist and heads of department
•	share best practices between marketing teams, internationally and across the lifecycle of the films
Profil

Profil :
• Minimum 3-years of experience in building strategic consumer marketing campaigns in the entertainment industry (films or TV series) or in theatrical distribution or a sales agent
•	Proficient in French and English
•	International experience required -working abroad or within an international team. Professional experience in a SC market is a plus
•	Combines good analytical skills with creative sensibility
•	A strategic understanding of the evolving entertainment landscape and of audiences is a necessity
•	Prior exposure to brand and media partnerships is a plus
•	Knowledge in social media analytics, audience insights and/or data analysis is a plus
