CareerNetwork is looking for a fulltime Business Development Assistant for a period of 12 months.

Samsung is currently setting up business in kitchen retail with built-in appliances.
In 2006, partnerships with 10 kitchen retailers will be established and 40 more partnerships are planned for 2007. Next to this Samsung is expanding the sales of side-by-side refrigerators in kitchen retail.

Job description
The employee will be the daily contact with the retailers, taking care of their order flow but also responsible for developing the business with the kitchen retailers. First by expanding the sales with the existing partners by maintaining the relation. Second by increasing the network of kitchen retailers.

Tasks
- Order intake;
- Sales support & Product information;
- Showroom and shop display development;
- Trade marketing;
- Executions of joined sales promotions;
- Sales and market analysis;
- Recruiting new prospects.

Knowledge
-Commercial education, minimum bachelor level with a major in economics or marketing;
- Good skills of written and spoken English / Dutch;
- Working experience is not required, but preferred;
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint;
- Good mathematical skills;
- Representative and social attitude;
- Flexible;
- Experience in B2C sales of consumer durables would be a preference.

Working experience is not required, but any experience in B2B relationship management or experience in kitchen business would be preferred.
