The intern will support the Legal and Business Affairs team while gaining experience working in a busy commercial legal environment in the media and entertainment industry.  They will have the opportunity to develop communication, organisational and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of the Film and TV sector.

Tasks and activities include:

•	Dealing with documentation including filing, indexing, preparing bibles, circulating to counterparties and coordinating execution; 
•	Scheduling meetings and calls;
•	Checking rights availabilities on RAMBO (the company's rights management database) and on executed contracts, e.g. for TV sales, PPV/VOD, clip rights, festival/theatrical screenings; 
•	Assisting in preparing, reviewing, and drafting simple contracts such as contributor release forms, clip licences and bonus material agreements, terms and conditions for competitions and promotions;
•	Dealing with various contractual queries for colleagues within the company such as approval rights, holdbacks, release requirements;
•	Sitting in on meetings, conference calls, contract negotiations;
•	Researching and summarising information for other members of the team as required.

Areas of law:
The team's work focuses on intellectual property and contract law, with elements of general commercial, corporate, insurance, dispute resolution and other areas.

Skills and Knowledge

•	experience within a similar role within the media or legal industry;
•	an understanding of film rights or enthusiasm to learn;
•	excellent attention to detail to ensure that rights are tracked correctly;
•	proven organisational skills sufficient to provide support to a team of 4;
•	good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages;
•	excellent written and spoken English;
•	an understanding of basic rights management and film distribution agreements;
