The Role

The Regional Delivery Operations Manager supervises all delivery operations in a defined region. This role works cross-functionally with the service, sales, logistics, and support teams to ensure all vehicles are delivered in a compliant and timely manner, while improving operational efficiency.  The Delivery Operations Manager will be responsible for achieving delivery targets within their region and providing daily guidance to their local partners on operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage regional delivery operations including delivery pipeline, logistics, and vehicle preparation to ensure positive customer experience while maximizing vehicle cycle times.
  • Accountable for working cross functionally with sales, service, and logistics teams to drive process improvements that achieve higher operational efficiency. 
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle revenue recognition and define regional structure for final payment collection.
  • Oversee all aspects of the vehicle registration process and define a regional structure for these local processes.
  • Forecast deliveries, provide guidance on delivery cycle time and delivery pace, report on both customer and vehicle readiness, and ensure accurate information is available to management.
  • Maximize regional P&L revenue generation by optimizing regional fleet management and vehicle supply. 
  • Support Regional Sales Manager and Store Manager by researching and providing guidance on undefined delivery scenarios, overcoming delivery objections and ensuring deliveries are progressing properly for rapid vehicle turnover.
  • Measure implementation and follow-up of delivery operational tasks and projects. Including managing monthly KPIs, which include but are not limited to scheduling activity and accuracy, vehicle shipment schedules, inventory turnover and yield, Customer Satisfaction and transactional accuracy and final document preparation and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, plus 4 years of work experience in sales and operations. 
  • Natural leadership qualities with a focus on problem-solving and operations.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to meet critical deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business critical deadlines
  • Strong organizational, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to thrive within a matrix organization.
  • Technological fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems, CRM tools, MS Office Suite. Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Travel to and from Tesla locations within a defined region.
  • Fluent in English, fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
