Digital Marketing Assistant – Allergan Aesthetics

Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Assistant will report into the Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Omnichannel. This role is responsible for supporting development of marketing strategies, methodologies, and roadmap to drive process improvements to provide an enhanced experience for HCP customers & patients, while managing digital agency partners and working cross-functionally with the medical education / marketing / communications / business excellence teams to deliver best in class digital campaigns / analytics.  

Key Deliverables:

  • Support the strategy and executional delivery of paid media/social paid aligned with brand messaging and strategic imperative
    • Work with third party vendor to implement and monitor paid media campaigns
    • Deliver a quarterly SEO & PPC competitive study
    • Monitor SEO performance by brand (Allergan Aesthetics, Juvéderm & Coolscupting)
    • Deliver evolutive maintenance of Allergan Aesthetics Coolscupting websites on Sitecore.

Developing marketing mixes from ideas to launch

  • Lead local marketing mix planning, development and implementation, in line with brand vision and objectives. Responsible for all day-to-day operational management of the brands
  • Implement new product launches (from forecast through to retail and digital consumer experience) and strive to maintain growth on icon pillar products, in alignment with the overall brand strategy
  • Competitive intelligence on the category/brand
  • Trend monitoring
  • Consumer research

Partner with internal stakeholders to maximise sell-in and sell-through

  • Be responsible of the brand image in every of the exclusive 360° plan worked for the retailers. Implement the execution of the plans with all the stakeholders and agencies
  • Communicate and coordinate plans with the Media, PR and Digital teams to determine effective media strategy and brief media agencies to bring it to life
    • Effectively work, collaborate, and drive results through our co-promotion alliance on both strategic alignment and tactical roll-out in a timely fashion.
  • Intern will present final project/assignment conclusions & learnings to department management and broader team at conclusion of assignment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build cross-functional relationships to ensure end to end quality and manage risk. Responsible for engaging existing Enterprise Excellence partners, providing awareness to key programs, set expectations, influence decisions, and maintain good relationships. Increase awareness and knowledge within the business on quality standards and expectations.
  • Liaison and Relationship Building: Builds collaborative relationships and effectively interacts frequently with business interactions focus on top priority projects and influencing strategic decisions. Interacts well with diverse groups across business functions and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.

  • Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • This role requires organizational, strategic thinking, analytical and reporting skills, and understanding of pharmaceutical business.
  • Requires an understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
  • The position requires teamwork and collaboration skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-leaders, and senior leadership in Commercial, Business Technology Services, Legal, regulatory affairs, market
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate concepts and problems in terms that are understandable to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters degree with marketing specialization
  • Languages: French & English
  • 1 or 2 past experience in beauty/retail/aesthetic market
  • Knowledge of global marketing (including Medias, Digital, visual Merchandising, PR, Training), and especially of the French market of Beauty, Cosmetics or Medical Aesthetics.
  • Highly numerate, with ability to analyze figures to draw conclusions and strong business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Collaborative team player.
  • Specific Tool Knowledge required: Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint all essential)
