Dixstone Shipyard – Perenco group is looking for a Yard Junior Project Engineer to join the Project management team in Vlissingen – the Netherlands.

General:
The Yard Project Engineer reports and works in close collaboration with the Yard Manager and project engineers and will be responsible for providing a wide range of supporting actions related to the management of the yard and drilling rig conversion projects: cost and schedule management, construction engineering, on-field work supervision, procurement, safety system implementation, etc.

The Yard Junior Project Engineer will have a key position interfacing with different type of entities ranging from yard's clients through subcontractors to other Dixstone department (supply chain, finance, etc.). Thus, the candidate shall demonstrate a strong appetite for teamwork, excellent communication and organization skills and shall be able to rapidly develop a sharp understanding of the Shipyard working environment and organisation.
Proactivity and taste for autonomy are indispensable qualities for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Rig conversion project management with support from Project Manager,
• Maintain exceptional relationship with all parties inside / outside the Yard,
• Subcontractors work follow-up (including on-field activities supervision),
• Participation to coordination meetings,
• Warehouse-oriented projects management and follow-up.

Assist Project/Yard Manager with:
• Premises/Site general management,
• Development of the HSE plan / strategy,
• Quay & warehouse organization,
• Definition and attribution of tasks to Rig Crew,
• General reporting (yard and project),
• Preparation of future rig movements.

• 0 to 5 years of working experience,
• Master in Naval / Marine / Offshore Engineering,
• Interest / Experience in Oil and Gas industry, Construction and Project management,
• Problem-solving approach & ability to cope with constantly changing priorities and pressures,
• Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up,
• Fluent in spoken and written English,
• Proficient in standard Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Autocad,
• Occasional international travelling is part of the job.
