JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for S&OP team managing S&OP process, demand management, supply chain planning for suppliers and inventory planning, acting as the main communication link between overseas suppliers, manufacturers and internal stakeholders at the manufacturing site. Managing inventory & supply issues through enhancing demand and supply visibility, and leading the success of business and operation initiatives, balancing between demand and supply at site and supply review.

His primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and management of the Supply Chain Planning team (6 people).

This includes maintaining a feasible MPS/production plans aligned with customer demand, inventory policies and supply chain constraints. In addition they will help define and implement MRP II Class A supply chain planning policies, processes, tools and KPIs to drive site-wide supply chain improvements.  

Roles and Responsibilities :

Work directly with the Site Supply Chain Director and actively participate on the Site Extended Leadership team to ensure site supply chain deliverables are met

Key accountabilities per area :

- S&OP Process :  Demand Management, Support monthly S&OP process to make one single plan,

Monthly Demand planning & Supply planning, Reconcile and integrate the demand and supply planning

Support Quality planning

-Inventory Management : Maintain optimum stock level with safety stock, Projection inventory management and Inventory turn-over management, Provide excess stock and slow moving stock to finance

-Supply planning & Scheduling : Strategic supply planning, change management, Enhance supply visibility through proactive communication, Production scheduling, Supplier procurement management, Scheduling Adjustment according to regulatory variation.

-Support new product launches : Involve in new product conversion from clinical to commercial, Involve in new inbound/outbound logistics flow, Timely support to launch new products

Master’s degree (major in supply chain or industrial engineering preferred)

APICS certification preferred

Minimum 10 years experience in the field of supply chain management in manufacturing site,  preferred

Experience in pharma, agro, biotechnology or cosmetics preferred

SAP experience and SCM Tools experience

Working knowledge of planning, purchase, logistics and trade

Excellent MS office skill (Excel, Power Point)

Fluent in english
