This position reports to: SVP, HR, Christian Dior Couture and President, Europe and Middle East.

The Director, HR Europe, Christian Dior Couture is responsible for leading and monitoring the execution the HR Strategy and across the Europe -which currently consist of 24 countries - reporting directly to the Global Senior Vice President, HR, Christian Dior Couture and to the President, Europe and Middle East..

 

From the Parisian Head-Quarter, he/she will manage a team of 22 people, based in Paris and across European Countries.

Position Overview

The Director of HR, Europe, acts as a strategic partner to drive the implementation of broad-based People & Development initiatives, including:

talent management and succession planning, leadership and organizational development, employee engagement and recognition, talent acquisition and on boarding, performance management, compensation and benefit, workforce planning and budgeting.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Workforce Planning & Organizational Design

Partners with top management in the identification, design and implementation of organizational transitions and transformation in line with business strategies for Europe.


Proactively engage in evolving the status quo, when needed, leading employees through change in a structured format, and encouraging adaptive behaviours to ensure individual and team success.


Talent and Performance Management

Drive and manage the Annual Performance Management and Organizational Review process for his/her Zone of responsibility, and provide strategic guidance and recommendations for employee development, succession planning, and retention of high potential talent.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Employees Retention

Partner with the Global Talent team to manage the selection & hiring process. Provide feedback and recommendation to leaders regarding candidate profiles. Provide recommendations to leadership to support retention of high calibre talent.
Ensure a consistent and successful on boarding employee experience for all European new hires. Support onboarding plans with leadership as appropriate.

Actively identify and seek to resolve drivers of employee turnover and implement best practices to retain top talent. Advocate for initiatives that will positively impact the European internal talent pool.

Project and Manage initiatives to ensure seamless delivery.


Learning & Development

Provide ongoing support and coaching to all Directors and Senior Directors regarding their personal development plans and the development of their teams



Profil

15-20 years of Human Resources Generalist experience required, developed in at least one European Country.

Ability to:

Establish strong relationships with key business partners and executive leadership.

Effectively influence business partners across the organization.
Think strategically while executing at a detailed level.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.

Knowledge of critical HR metrics that drive business performance.

Multicultural awareness, ability to work in transversal projects involving international teams.

Dynamic personality, flexible, positive, team player.
